When will my plan start?
When you enroll between Nov. 1 and Dec. 15, your coverage will begin Jan. 1st
After this date, you can enroll or change plans only if you qualify for a “Special Enrollment Period.”

How Do I Pay My Bill?

About Catastrophic Coverage*:
People under 30 (and people who have qualified for a hardship or affordability exemption, regardless of age) may buy a “catastrophic” health plan.
Catastrophic health insurance protects you from very high medical costs in the event of an illness or injury.
You will likely have to pay all of your medical costs up to a certain amount, usually several thousand dollars.
Costs for Essential Health Benefits over that amount are usually paid by the insurance company.
Catastrophic health plans protect you from the worst-case scenarios.
Costs for Catastrophic policies cover three primary care visits per year at no cost. They also include free preventive benefits.
